1. Overview
This Refund Policy explains how USN — Unfiltered Sports Network, operated by Deckard Enterprise International, handles refund requests for sponsorships, Equity Partner contributions, subscriptions, deposits, and related payments. USN is based in Kansas, United States. Refund and cancellation rights may vary by state and by transaction type. In general, USN honors the refund terms disclosed at the time of payment and complies with applicable consumer protection laws.
2. Payment Processor
USN uses Stripe to process payments. USN does not store full credit card or banking information. Payment processor fees, bank fees, chargeback fees, currency conversion fees, or other third-party fees may not be refundable unless required by law or determined by USN in its discretion.
3. Sponsorship Payments
All sponsorships are subject to USN review including brand safety, mission alignment, and platform suitability. If USN rejects a sponsorship before activation, USN will issue a refund of the sponsorship payment, less any nonrefundable processing fees unless otherwise required by law. Once a sponsorship has been approved and activated, sponsorship payments are generally nonrefundable except where required by law, required by a written sponsorship agreement, or approved by USN in its discretion.
4. Founding Sponsor Deposits
Founding Sponsor Deposits reserve a sponsor's place for review and sponsorship discussions. If USN rejects a sponsor after review, the deposit will be refunded unless otherwise stated at the time of payment. If the sponsor withdraws after USN has begun review, onboarding, brand placement work, or activation preparation, the deposit may be nonrefundable.
5. Recurring Sponsorships
Recurring sponsorships may be billed monthly or according to the terms shown at checkout or in a written sponsorship agreement. A sponsor may request cancellation by contacting sponsors@usn.network. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. USN does not provide partial-month refunds for recurring sponsorships unless required by law or approved in writing.
6. Equity Partner Contributions
Equity Partner contributions support USN's mission to expand visibility, coverage, and opportunity for women's sports. USN intends to direct a portion of eligible net proceeds from Equity Partner contributions to a women's sports nonprofit, with the Women's Sports Foundation identified as the preferred recipient pending confirmation of donation procedures and any required permissions. USN does not currently represent that Equity Partner contributions are tax-deductible charitable donations unless expressly stated in writing. Equity Partner contributions are subject to USN review. If USN rejects an Equity Partner before public recognition or program activation, USN will review the payment for refund eligibility. Once public recognition, sponsor listing, or activation has begun, Equity Partner contributions are generally nonrefundable except where required by law or approved by USN in writing.
7. Fan Subscriptions
If fan subscriptions are offered, the subscription terms shown at checkout will control. Unless otherwise stated at checkout: subscriptions renew automatically until canceled; cancellation stops future renewal; cancellation does not automatically create a refund for the current billing period; refunds may be reviewed case by case.
8. Digital Products, Shop Items, Events, and Marketplace Purchases
USN may later offer digital products, merchandise, events, athlete experiences, or marketplace items. Refund terms for those products will be disclosed at checkout or in the applicable product description. If no specific refund terms are provided, USN will review refund requests case by case and comply with applicable law.
9. Defective Products or Broken Sales Contracts
Nothing in this Refund Policy limits rights that customers may have under applicable law. If USN fails to provide a purchased service, materially breaches a sales agreement, or provides a defective product or service, refund rights may apply under federal or state law.
10. Cooling-Off Rule
Certain transactions may qualify for cancellation rights under the FTC Cooling-Off Rule or other applicable laws. The Cooling-Off Rule does not apply to every online transaction, sponsorship, subscription, or digital purchase. USN will comply with applicable cancellation rights where legally required.
11. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund contact support@usn.network. For sponsorship-related refund questions contact sponsors@usn.network. Please include: your name; email used for payment; company name if applicable; payment date; payment amount; reason for refund request; Stripe receipt or transaction reference if available. USN may request additional information before processing a refund.
12. Refund Timing
Approved refunds are typically submitted to the payment processor within a reasonable time after approval. Actual posting times depend on the payment processor, bank, card issuer, and payment method.
13. Chargebacks
If you dispute a payment through your bank or card issuer, USN may pause related sponsor benefits, public recognition, subscriptions, or services while the dispute is reviewed. Fraudulent or abusive chargebacks may result in termination of access, sponsorship, recognition, or future eligibility.
14. Policy Changes
USN may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted with a revised Last updated date.
